The Nut Barbershop

My son had his hair and beard trimmed yesterday at The Nut Barbershop. He's new to the area and a good friend of mine recommended this shop and specifically Barber, Devin Tomlin. My son was a bit sceptical & concerned when he heard 'straight razor', but after it was over, he said it was the smoothest his skin has ever felt after a cut. The lines are sharp on his undercut and his beard looks great! He really liked Devin a lot! He said the shop itself was the cleanest one he's ever been in. So, I can say that Devin Tomlin has definitely got herself a new customer! (The picture is after him training all day.) She is definitely an awesome Barber.. it looks fantastic! Thank you Devin for doing such a great job and for making all these men look so good!

REBECCA is a real gem. She gave me a cowlick and said she would correct it and my next cut would be free. When I came back to Raleigh I contacted her and she said she would NOT give me a free haircut as promised and it was NOT her fault for giving me a cowlick, even though I’ve mysteriously never had a cowlick with ANY haircut prior. Would not recommend.

Had a haircut by Devin today. I can see why she’s booked out. Excellent service and result. She was attentive to my preferences, very detail oriented, and when I gave some stylistic leeway, she did not disappoint. Clearly a top notch professional. Thank you guys so much!

Rebecca, a lovely & charismatic Pittsburgh native, slayed this Texan's hill country gnarled mane. She worked quickly & proficiently, while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail. She was happy to take on an unusual straight razor shave styling request & executed the "Gomez Addams" with confidence & skill! Big Preesh, Rebecca, for dappering this el duderino!

My first impression is $40 is too much for a haircut and I was wrong because they deserve it! Ryan did great job of not cutting my hair too short, which is what I asked for, and based on the photos I showed him. One of the best haircuts I had or probably the best haircut I had, he's very knowledgeable and will ask while giving you a haircut if you want it shorter. Just make sure you tell him what you want and what you don't want in your haircut. Will comeback for another haircut!
