A visit to the store on December 21 proved to be a study in how indifference can eclipse even the most routine retail exchange. What should have been a straightforward transaction became needlessly frustrating, marked by a customer service experience so dismissive that it effectively ensured I will not return. Despite making separate purchases, I was met with unnecessary insistence that all items be combined into a single bag, without explanation or regard for a reasonable request to the contrary. Simple, clarifying questions were answered not with professionalism but with visible impatience and a tone that suggested inconvenience rather than service. I stopped by The Oil Bar to purchase a nice roller-bottle oil. The young lady working there was incredibly rude and dismissive. I still went ahead with my purchase, but when I tried to use the oil right after leaving, the roller didn’t even work. I walked right back to the store—literally minutes later and was told they “don’t do exchanges or returns.” This was a brand-new, defective product, and I hadn’t even left the mall yet. The attitude and lack of customer service were unacceptable. Spend your money elsewhere there are plenty of businesses that actually stand behind their products and treat customers with respect.

The customer service is horrible. I asked one of the ladies that work there a question. With an attitude she tells me she’s assisting another customer. Finally when I was able to get assistance, I pulled out a $50 bill to pay for my item. She tells me they don’t take big bills and that I can go to Dave and Busters to get change. I walk out the store and she runs up on me asking was I coming back to buy the products, I told her no and she says don’t come back in the store. First of all there are no signs in the store that say the store doesn’t accept big bills and I wasn’t about to go to another store to get change. A business should have change. Second of all she was about to get whooped running up on me like she’s crazy and lastly I can make the same product at home so I don’t need to go

I bought a few products but the roll ons were so cheap that we had to go back to get an exchange. then I opened my eucalyptus that I bought and it was old and rancid! The smell was disgusting! My entire bathroom smelled of moldy crap! Clearly it was old and they do no quality control. I returned the next day with the rancid eucalyptus and they refused to give me a new bottle. Stay away from this place. There products are bad and the bottles they use are cheap so you cannot use the products you purchased. I question whether the products are even safe. Then they won’t honor your purchase by exchanging the rancid product that they sold you in the first place. This is Monday and I was in there this past Saturday. Great variety of sented oils and the Shay Butter Lotions are fantastic. However customer service could be a little bit better it is a little slow due to it being understaffed sometimes. They also honor Service Members.
