The Salon 4 Kids

We have taken our 2.5 year old son to see Kathy twice now, because she is amazing at keeping him calm and getting him to relax. They call her the child whisperer. She has a gift. Great haircut, great environment, everyone is very friendly and efficient, but truly impressive how Kathy can get kids to cooperate and make it fun. Thank you!

We loved this for our son’s haircut! The people running the place do an awesome job at making the kids comfortable. They work super fast too, which was great. We were in & out within 15 minutes.

My son‘s first haircut was today and we had a great experience. Patty cut his hair quickly and it looks so cute. He literally just turned one year old and his hair was out of control and he doesn’t sit still and she was patient with him and we are very happy with our experience.

We went here for our daughters first haircut (March 24, 2023 at 3pm) and it seems like the lady don't wanna cut her hair. My wife just asked the lady who doesn't wanna give her name if what additional services they offer like shampoo and blow dry. We saw the signs where it says blow dry and shampoo and then my wife asked what kind of shampoo they use, and the lady just gave us the atittude and asked us to leave because she said customers dont ask that questions. We are trying to cIarify things cause it seems theres a misunderstanding,but she insisted that we leave, It was just us there so obviously shes not busy, but she seems mad at us for asking questions. Im gonna give this a 1 star for service,a very horrible experience. Its just sad that a kids salon is not that friendly.

We've been bringing out son here for haircuts since we relocated to South Orange. The staff is friendly, attentive, and great with the kids. They have lots of things to engage him with while he sits and he always looks great when they're done. It's a fair price for great service.
