The Standard Barbershop

Wish I could give 0 stars. Do not go here if you want a good quality haircut. Told my stylist Inyoung I liked the style I currently had and only wanted an inch or so cut off to maintain it. Instead, she proceeded to butcher my hair, leaving jagged strands at inconsistent lengths which I only discovered upon washing out all the product she applied that hid the errors. Will not be back. Attached are photos of results and previous style for reference. EDIT: To their credit, I appreciate management for reaching out right away and processing a full refund for me.

Lance is great. I've only been twice, but he's been very good and consistent about cutting the style I ask for. While the shop is more expensive, the quality is much better than a cheap chain I had to go to in a pinch. 100% worth it. Cutting ability aside, Lance and the whole team (including George) are also super chill and friendly, and you're treated well. This will be my barber until I move.

I’ve been here several times now, and consistently get an amazing classic gentleman’s haircut from Kevin. I’ve had haircuts from some highly regarded stylists in NYC, Tokyo, etc., and Kevin is right up there with the best. Very clean and sanitary, as I noticed they do clean the tools between the clients. And to top it all off, Kevin is a super chill guy and pleasure to be around. Thank you always for the great experience.

Been coming to this barbershop since 2018! I’ve learned my lesson time and time again, you get what you pay for. I’ve tried going to all different shops in the DMV area and they don’t compare. Berenice Gomez always gives me exactly what I want and oftentimes gives me suggestions for a better look. Highly recommend !

Kevin did such a fantastic job for my teenage(17) son today. He told me that it was the best haircut he has ever gotten. We’ve been to more than 20 barbershops/hair salons near Vienna and Fairfax and I can confidently say Kevin is the best hair stylist. He’s very kind too. The shop is so clean and beautiful too. Love the atmosphere!!
