The Studio - Salon & Blow Dry Bar

I only have good things to say about my experience! The studio is great. My service from front desk to stylist was great, the salon uses high quality products and my stylist Melissa did exactly what I was looking for. I was a walk in for a blowout and I left with exactly what I asked for with my style and my hair feeling clean and bouncy. I’m so happy I found a place to get blowouts, I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been a client of this salon for over 15 years and through multiple ownership changes. I am writing this review to caution others against purchasing gift certificates here due to my recent experience with customer service. I received a gift certificate from my boss, and prior to booking, I called the salon to confirm I could use it for a haircut. I spoke with Grace, the receptionist, who placed me on hold to check with management. She returned and assured me the gift certificate could be applied, so I proceeded to book a basic haircut. When I arrived, I was slightly surprised to find that the price I was quoted at booking had changed. While I understood the discrepancy, I felt this should have been communicated in advance. JR is AMAZING! I had a new topper that was a mess and she gave me advice to tell the place I bought it. When I got the replacement, JR cut it in and gave me a FABULOUS haircut! I cannot recommend her enough - she knows hair!!!!

Sage is a great hair stylist with the kindest approach & most gentle hands (I’m tender-headed) I’ve ever had work on me. She also has a very funny sense of humor. She helped me tame my frizzy (cat lady) hair & transition to gray hair. I regularly got compliments about my hair looking so good (much better) than before even as I went through the awkward grow out period. Thank you so much, Sage!!!

EDIT: As a response to the poor excuse listed by the owner, I will shed more light on what happened. The front desk and stylist did not spend much time talking to me about my service. I called and texted them questions before I went to my appointment and they never told me I had to bring in my own fake hair. You're a hair salon how would I know I need to do that?? Especially because I talked to them and all they asked was what color I wanted the extensions. Then I get to my appointment and the stylist tells me I have to go buy the hair. She said to get colored hair extensions from a specific store. I went to two different locations and got the only color hair extensions that they had. Then when I got to the salon I was told this was not the right kind of hair extensions but she would brai
