Joyce gave the best haircut I’ve gotten in all of Hampton Roads. She takes her craft very seriously and it shows, all while being incredibly friendly and fun to talk with. On top of all that, she has the fairest prices in the area. She made sure to ask in detail about the way I like my hair cut (I get a taper fade with a hard part), and she explained everything I was unsure about. She even gave advice about the best and easiest ways to style my hair.

Joyce is great. She’s always very friendly and goes the extra mile to give a great haircut with fair prices.

Joyce at The Thistle Barbershop in Old Town Kempsville is an absolute gem! Not only is she an incredible barber who delivers flawless cuts every time, but her warm Scottish accent and vibrant personality always brighten my day.
