The Upper Cut Salon and Spa

Great experience with super nice people but at the end of the day I’m paying for a haircut. Me and both of my boys got their haircut. Mine was a great cut. Their haircut looked very choppy, not blended well and it was a little shorter than we were expecting for my younger son. Update: Claire, the manager reached out to fix his hair. Changed my original review due to them working to correct the cut for my eldest son and it is now blended and he’s super happy with it. Thank you for reaching out to ensure a satisfactory outcome!

So I have three kids and often no help to be able to take one kid at a time. Today I booked appointments for all three and had a mild lice scare. Now I get it— lice in a hair salon is pretty much equivalents to yelling fire in a theater. Everyone can smell smoke . Each of them were calm and patient and we did NOT have it —just a case of independent kids not shampooing well. I cannot recommend them enough especially Claire (she was an absolute gem)

Today I had a great experience at the Upper Cut. I must admit at first I wasn't sure whether to stay or not as I noticed I was the only male, but I was welcomed warmly by the receptionist who told me that they did cut men's hair and I noticed later there were other male customers. The woman cutting my hair, Rita, has been at the Upper Cut for many years which I refreshing & comforting in these times of so much change. It also tells me that this business has been well established and is stable, and I'm very thankful that they have survived. As for my hair cut, well, I was extremely satisfied. And from what I could tell, so are their other customers also seem to be very satisfied as everyone except me seem to be repeat customers over many years, but don't let that put you off from this place

Took my son here. He has some very tricky cowlicks and they nailed his cut the first time. The staff was friendly and my kid is excited to go back.

Recommend!! Ive been seeing the same stylist every visit for the last couple years. I've never needed to see anyone else. They all are great stylist, I've seen a lot of the others work over this time! I recommend The Upper Cut Salon to everyone! Also have you seen the inside of the new shop? It's very nice all updated! The shampoo stations are very comfortable and relaxing 😌
