The Wild Side

I’ve been going to the wild side for about 2-3 years now. They’re the only place in Knoxville that I trust with my hair, so I thought I’d leave a review. Emily cut my hair today and she was very understanding of how I wanted it cut and I love the way it turned out! She seemed to understand my hair type more than other stylists do from my experience. Over all, if you’re alternative and looking for a good place to get your hair done, I really recommend the wild side! Personally, I have never had one bad experience here!

Recently discovered this hidden gem in knoxville and will forever recommend people here! Alyssa is not only the coolest person you’ll meet, but an epic stylist! My time in knoxville was short, but alyssa always worked me in her schedule and gave me some absolutely stunning shag/mullet styles! 10/10 recommend this salon :)

I've been getting my hair cut by Alyssa for years now. Super kind, energetic, and has an awesome eye for what works for your hair. I come in with an idea of what I want and maybe a picture of two and she instantly catches the vision and gives me something I'm super happy to show off until it grows out enough that I come back. The booking process is also super easy and the shop is clean and nice.

Kat is hands down the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. Whether it’s color or styling, she pays incredible attention to detail and really cares about getting it right. She’s also so friendly and easy to talk to, which makes every appointment feel comfortable and relaxed.

I didn’t want to come and give a bad review because I’m not that kind of person but I have cried since I left the salon. I only wanted my layers blended and that’s all I wanted. I wanted my length left as much as possible. I explained everything and showed a picture. Kat is a nice person, but she didn’t listen to a word I said about what I wanted. She just cut cut cut and I ended up with a very short shag when what I wanted was a long bob. Those are two very different hair cuts. I left looking like I have a mushroom on my head. I told her I wasn’t happy with it and her response was “there is nothing else I can do for you” really!! I’m not mad, I am crushed. Absolutely crushed!
