I just had my first visit at theSHED, and I definitely found my new hair home. I was greeted warmly and offered a drink upon arrival (thanks, Jose!). The people and the place have a cool vibe. Conversation was fun and flowed which makes the salon experience more enjoyable. Music was on point, too. Kim is incredible! She listened to and honored my preferences, but also offered insight and suggestions based on my hair type and lifestyle. Thank you to Emily as well who helped with my hair treatment and blow dry. My hair looks amazing and feels even better. Thanks to all for an awesome experience! Looking forward to future visits. UPDATE 2/2025: Kim is a wizard with coloring. Her work is amazing. I'm new to FL and a friend HIGHLY recommended Kim at theSHED. About a month before my appointment, I'd just gotten married and come back from our honeymoon. I'd had hair extensions put in that I left in way too long. It did a lot of damage after removing them and I already have very fine hair so I knew I'd be a challenge for anyone. My expectations were basically damage control: help me get my hair back to a healthy state and maybe later I can get back to highlights. Kim wanted me to come by for a consultation first and she asked me a lot of questions and listened to what I wanted. She seemed very optimistic that she could help me not only get my hair to a healthy state, but also to what I really wanted. She was very transparent and set all the expectations of my appointment. TheSHED hair studio has got to be the best salon we’ve ever been to. It’s a drive but very worth it. The atmosphere is extremely chill, welcoming and the stylists answer questions from a technical/educational direction that feels personal and with your best interest at heart without being judgmental or overly critical. We love The Shed.

This shop is probably one of the best in Orlando. If you want someone who really knows how to cut hair go to Jose. He’s experienced, versatile and traditional. I also enjoy Zulay as she gives the best facials. I’ll never stop going here.

Jose takes the time and care to really work with you, even if you don't know what you want to do with your hair yet! He did an awesome job talking through what he wanted to do, what to expect as it grows in, and how to maintain it. Thank you Jose!
