Thompson's AVEDA Salon Spa

I've been to every Aveda Salon in Monmouth County, and Thompson’s Aveda Salon in Shrewsbury is the only one that has impressed me on two fronts: they applied my color correctly and provided a proper blowout that was included in the service. Maria did an amazing job listening to my needs and executed the color and style exactly as I like. Thank you, Maria! I will definitely be coming back next month!

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Maria for a few years now and I’m always so happy with the way it turns out!! She does an amazing job and the AVEDA products always feel great and never dry out my hair even when I get my color changed. I know very little about getting hair dyed and Maria helped me figure out what I wanted and how to do it with my limited knowledge - highly recommend!

I have been going to Thompson salon for at least 5 years now and i love it. from the receptionist to the stylist and the owner, they are friendly and professional. i love the Aveda products since i have been using them my hair is so healthy, especially that i color every 3 weeks. their prices are reasonable and they always have great specials going on. I recommend them for hair nails, messages and facials.

Unequivocally recommend Mary Kate at this sweet salon tucked away near The Grove in Shrewsbury. Needed emergency hair and makeup help before a holiday fundraising event. The salon made a last minute accomodation in their schedule and Mary Kate did an amazing job!

I had my eyebrows waxed here, so I can't speak for the hair salon part; but the wax was one of the worst I've ever had. They were accommodating in moving up my appointment time, however she was 20 minutes late in getting to me. She didn't ask if I was taking an retinoids, or prep my eyebrows in anyway; and now I'm missing the skin underneath my eyebrows, just in time for holidays and my birthday. My eyebrows are literally burning. Super disappointed, especially because I only get waxed at Aveda salons because they usually have very high standards. Won't be going in for a wax again.
