Thumbs Up Nail Spa (Styish Nail Salon)

Easily the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. I mean… I could have done better than this. Paid $40 for this. Sad

More like Thumbs Down 👎👎 I don't write reviews very often but I'm honestly disappointed in the service I received. Not only did I get a messy French manicure, but when I went back to have it fixed, I was told she sees nothing wrong and I was just being picky. I paid extra for dip powder and colored French tips and, of course, I would expect quality work. I also mentioned to her that I struggle with anxiety and asked her to be more patient with me, explaining it took a lot for me to walk there today and ask for them to be redone. Instead, she got upset and said, "Maybe I should just give you a refund and never do your nails in the future." I told her that I'm going on vacation so I needed them redone. Rather than redo them, she only attempted to repaint the tips but they were still uneven.

I appreciated walking in and someone was at the reception area waiting to greet and assist me. The inside was lovely and simple which I love. No appointment was required and I was serviced immediately (no wait). They used this cool machine to buff my feet which felt greet, I thought that was very unique and innovative as well as time saving for me and the technician. My technician was very invested into removing the dead skin around my cuticles and that is literally my favorite nail tech!!! I love seeing and peeling that away, it just makes the nail/feet look fresh and appealing! I wonder if they plan to update the outside area to make it more appealing. It may be different shifts but there were not a lot of technicians working on this Friday. I am curious about them offering drinks, sinc

We live and travel on our boat. It’s been several years since I’ve had my nails done because…we live and travel on a boat. 🙃 When we got to Jacksonville I could not find a decent nail tech and after two very bad experiences, a hair salon referred me to Thumbs Up. Monique has been amazing as has the entire team. We are leaving Jacksonville at the end of December and heading to St Augustine for one month before heading south to the Bahamas and I’ll continue to drive the hour to have Monique do my nails until we shove off to paradise. I hope to see her again upon our return to Jacksonville before we head to New York. Thanks, Monique.

Monique is the BEST. She literally saved my nails. She is like a nail doctor. She transformed my nails back to health. Amazing !!
