Thy’s Nails

Thys nails used to be the place to get your nails done. This place has declined in service. Anytime you ask how much they tell you one price and when it’s time to pay it’s not what you were told it’s like $120. I specifically asked for my nails to be dipped and the lady still did a layover. Was going to send me on my way with what looked like duck nails had so much product under my nails and they were super thick. I had to tell her how to do her job. Left about 20min ago and look nail already broke. I don’t recommend this place, because they are never honest upfront and only want maximum dollar from customers. They do not care about customers. This place used to be packed. It was only 2 people in there in a Saturday morning around 11am 🤦🏽‍♀️

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE STAY AWAY!!!! They do not value their customers if you don’t spend the money they want you to spend. My daughter is 17 y/o and works hard at her good grades and she also has a part time job at the mall. She likes to get her nails and feet done from time to time. The one time she got regular polish on her toes they jacked her polish up on purpose. She had lumpy polish on her toes as of my 5 y/o grandson painted her toes.

So I recently moved up here I was referred to this place from a friend since the main place here in West colonial was full. I came here wanting to get something very simple, Just a foot massage and my nails. I got to the pedicure section and it took five minutes for them to understand the fact that I'm not here to do my toe nails or change the color just a foot massage and cutting my cuticles. When the lady finally understood what I was saying, not that it was anything hard to Understand but she did it out of anger because she wanted me to do my toenails even though I just did my toenails one week ago somewhere else. I came in on August 2 to get my nails done and by August 6 my nails were popping off. I get my nails done regularly and the only reason I came here is because my usual girl was booked. This is the first time this is ever happened when I’ve gotten my nails done though. My nail tech (the only male in the salon I didn’t catch his name) was rude and rushing the entire time. I had to beg him to do the nail designs that I wanted on my nails. And before he started the service I asked him did he think that he could do it or should I go somewhere else and he said he could. But the designs are sloppy, and cracking. This was my first and last time going to the salon, and even though the prices are cheap just spend the extra $40 and go to someone who knows what they’re doing and without the attitude.

I absolutely hate this place. I've been coming here for years and the reason I keep going back is because I'm so used to it but every time I go it's always something. This lady always has an attitude like she's the one receiving the service. I was asking her a question and she flat out ignored me. I got my toes done and 5 hours later all the gems came off and she said that I was lying.
