Amalia is wonderful! I’ve been going to her to have my hair cut for over a year now and have always loved how it turns out. I’ve gotten long layers, curtain bangs, and regular bang trims. She’s very sweet and attentive, making sure everything is exactly how I want it. Would definitely recommend booking with her!

Amalia is amazing!! Was looking for a good hairstylist in DC at a reasonable price, and a friend recommended Amalia. She’s cut my hair twice, and I’ve left super happy each time. She does my layers perfectly and manages my thick hair very well. Her blowouts are incredible and last even in this DC summer humidity. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Full disclosure: I’ve been coming here for over 2 years for cuts and highlights from Gloria despite the following. She is a pretty skilled hair professional but tends to rush your service, leading to things like poking you in the eye with a comb or splashing water on you while washing. One time she left my bleach on while proceeding to do a full cut for a male customer 😳 I literally told her that my scalp was burning, and she just said to wait while she finished. You get what you pay for 🤷‍♀️ although at least the price is low.

Amalia has been such a great find after moving to DC a year ago! My “blonde” hair has never looked better! She is quick, does an amazing job, and charges a fair price. Would recommend to anyone who highlights their hair in the DMV.
