Tigers Eye Hair Studio

I've been going to see Maria at Tigers Eye for 3 or 4 years now. Her hair cut is absolutely my jam. When you walk in the door the front desk personnel is always welcoming and very nice. There is a complimentary tea bar that I do love and a hella cute lounge area to enjoy your drink in. It's also worth noting that the parking around that area isn't bad at all. 1st street always has something available within a block or 2.

Nic is the best hairstylist! They always know exactly what I want, best conversations, and so perfect at the little details. I can't recommend them enough. If you're unsure or want a change, Nic will make your hair dreams come true ✨️ As for the studio, the vibes are perfect. A little safe place with good music and plenty of plants.

Have been coming to Maria since I moved to Richmond and she is fantastic. If you have bangs, you know that it can be scary getting them trimmed by a new hair stylist, but Maria always does such a great job and cuts them to the exact right length/shape! Also does a fantastic job at layering. Not only is she an amazing hair artist, but she's genuinely super cool/kind, and I always look forward to chatting during my appointment. 11/10 would recommend

I had a wonderful experience with Windy! She gave my hair texture that looks great on my naturally straight hair, or when it’s curled. She is passionate about what she does, and she is also incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Would come back to her again and again!

I decided to treat myself and get my hair done by Daisy here at Tiger Eye. My hair is naturally blonde which means I usually have 4 different blondes in my hair and I just wanted it all to be one color. When booking my appointment I was told it would be $150 over the phone but it ended up being $200 + tip which was not optional and I was lowkey pressed to tip. After leaving the salon I realized how dry and brittle my hair was but thought maybe if I waited and washed it myself with my own products things would be different. After doing that, my hair is still extremely dry and clumping together and it just feels awful which has never happened in my prior years of getting a retouch of my natural color.
