I would like to express my concerns about the service I received during my recent appointment. From the beginning, I communicated clearly that I usually allow only one person to do my hair because my head is small and other hairstyles often end up looking rushed. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed that concern. After my hair was completed, I was unable to see the details clearly in the mirror due to being tired from working 3rd shift, so I checked my hair again once I reached my car. I’ve been a loyal customer here for 10 years. I only allow Tina to braid my hair but somehow she has other employees there that’s working that does half ass jobs. I called in today to make sure that I can get two rows of my hair re-braided.. When I arrived, she has someone else answering and taking calls for her. She wasn’t even aware of me coming there. Then Tina Told one of her other employees to braid my hair I sat down. I have went to Tina's shop for a year now and I am now deciding not to come back. When you come into the shop they are not very eager to greet you. They dont wash hair and seem very unprofessional. They are SO rough with the blow dryer comb and they have ripped my hair from my scalp because they dont take their time with it. I have cried sitting in the chair and no one cares. That was my breaking point. Other than the horrible beginning of appointments. They do a great job with most styles and are very quick but the back braids have slipped out for me every time I went. Find literally any other shop and they will do better. Also weirdly priced and never consistent. Cash only.. in this day and age. Who has 200+ in cash. Waited 2 hours after making an appointment and paying a deposit. Braider tried to make me take a style I didn’t want and then had an attitude and charged $300 for huge box braids.

Tina is very nice! The other ladies that do hair in the shop are nice as well. They do use a product that I don’t like that is white and it makes white flakey looking stuff show in the hair after a few weeks that I didn’t like. They braid alittle tight for me. All of the ladies in the shop braiding skills are pretty good. Your hair will look nice. I just have one complaint and that is the prices are not consistent. Example:you will get a style one week and the price is 140 then a few weeks later when you call back to get the same exact style the price went up and now it is 200. What changed within the few weeks? I would like to make a suggestion: If you forget what you are charging you need to make a price list. If a client is getting this style the price is whatever then so on and so o
