Tip Toes Tan

I visit Tips Toes Nail Salon in Owings Mills often, and while the prices are on the higher side, the experience is well worth it if you get the right technician. The salon is always clean, beautifully decorated, and has a calming atmosphere that makes for a relaxing visit. My most recent pedicure was amazing, thanks to the gentleman who took great care and attention to detail—I will definitely be returning to see him again!

Tip Toes absolutely saved me today. I had gotten a botched nail set at a DIFFERENT location and came here. Messy (??) took care of me, walked me through the process of what’s best for my nails, took his time with each nail, and was very patient and accommodating in providing me the best nail color. My nails were a -10/10 when i walked in and i left feeling like my nails were top tier, 15/10 quality. Thank you SO MUCH!

Very discriminating and pushy to get customers to spend more money. I did not make it past the rude man at the front desk. I refuse to spend money with rude, unmotivated, lazy and greedy people!

So this place has changed hands a couple of times. It’s used to be so full and the service was excellent. Now it is empty and I know why, the service is awful and prices are ridiculous. I keep trying to give them a chance, over and over since their own location is convenient, but it is a rip off. They make up prices and addtl fees as they go along. Today, anything longer than this is considered “medium” which is $5 more! Look at the picture, how is this in the verge of medium, this is short! Then if they add tips is an addtl $5. Ooh an addtl color is, you guessed it, $5. Now it’s the same amount of brush strokes, same amount of products used, but $5 more. Then when you say no thank you to the wallet taping, then get an attitude. I can paint my nails at home for way less. I’m good on it. I

I usually go here and Mike is pretty decent. Not the nicest but pretty good. I went to him before my trip and I’m not sure what was going on, but he gave me one of the worst manicures I received. The picture is only a week old. The shape and application were terrible.
