Tombouctou African Hair Braiding

Went to get knot less box braids, just for it to look like knot box braids. Was originally quoted $190, when I got there was charged an extra $20 to “braid it all the way to the ends” just for that to not happen. When she did regular corn rows, I was satisfied despite having uneven parts-that was my first visit. Second visit, crown braid with weave she made it so thick and bulky, took it out after a few days due to the tightness and whatever product she used irritated my scalp. The third time was the box braids incident. When told that the braids were not good quality, she never admitted her fault, only said the hair I had was ‘bad quality’ despite the inconsistency in the sizes. Despite the ends being sloppy. Lol.. reading these reviews is too funny and also so true.. this lady told me she has been braiding hair for more than 30 years.. impossible!! Please please please. Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. When you leave here from getting your hair done it looks like your kids played in your hair. Very sweet lady but very very poor service. She definitely has the concept of how to braid now the needs to learn neatness and professionalism of how to braid.. also the five star reviews have to be completely fake and made up because ain’t know way anybody enjoyed there hair after she does it.. just saying.. they need to take her off google search cause this ain’t a business.this a side show for entertainment purposes only!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have gotten my hair braided by Kadidia a few times now as I was new to Florida she was recommended to me. I get single box braids everytime bringing nothing but the cost of the braids and hair as she also provides the hair if needed. My last braids were kept nicely for 4 months with very little maintenance. I have always left satisfied. She is always on time for my appointments and takes less than half the time anyone else has ever taken on my hair. I will be returning to her for ALL of my braiding needs. Highly recommended!

Like many places and experiences, there are highs and lows. The place is clean and the stylists is nice. I made an appointment, she was 25 minutes late and commented that SHE assumed I was not coming. I was quoted a price and was charged $40 more dollars & for hair I could clearly see was not new and I DID NOT change the style from the original request. I thought it was an isolated incident but the same EXACT thing happened with my daughter a week later. Both hair styles came out decent but lasted only a few short weeks and I know how to take care of and maintain braided hair so that it will last. Judge for yourself as it could just be my dissatisfaction based on my wants and expectations. I fully support businesses succeeding and based on comments and this business's longevity, the satis
