Tom's Barber & Styling Shop

I have been getting my hair cut there for a couple of years & he WAS doing a good job. I walked in today to get my haircut & I was rudely greeted by him yelling at me in front of his other customers that he was was leaving at 2:00. That's fine, but he could have been much more pleasant & professional about it, especially in front of other customers. Needless to say, he just lost a good paying customer.

Takes good care of my hair. When I walk out, I look younger and thinner.

I've been coming here for a year and a half, but will never come back. I showed up a little after he opened today, and Tom reprimanded me for arriving right after he opened. He said he didn't care what his listed hours were, and that he would start cutting hair whenever he felt like it. He was incredibly rude.

Tom does Mens haircuts. I have been seeing him for over 20 years now. He usually does older style haircuts. That's why you almost always see people over the age of 50 in there. It's just a small Barbershop with room for a few customers to wait. He uses Hot Foam and a Straight Blade for trimming the nape of your neckline. That's an art that has been lost with a lot of newer hairstylists. I believe that his current price is $11 + tip. Then he runs Specials for the Seniors on Wednesday and Thursday's. The reason I still drive there from Maple Grove is to catch up on the Northside and Sporting Events news.

I'm new to the area and this was my first visit to Tom"s barber shop. It was a great experience. Tom was friendly towards myself an others that came and went. And I got a good haircut at a fair price.
