TOUBA AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING

I never give bad reviews but in this case I had to. The one star is for fitting me in today. As for me I wouldn’t recommended them for this type of hairstyle. My hair is close to shoulder length the braider told the owner my hair was short that was incorrect. I’ve gotten my hair braided by other hair braiding shops here in Sumter and never felt disappointed. I have little hair strands left out of the braids. you can clearly see that my hair has been burnt incorrectly from the fire being used in my hair to finish the look. Additionally a couple of the zigzag braids are kinda turned from improper braiding.

I’ve never been to a braid shop that was so unsanitary!!! From the flies to the strong aroma of trash !! Broken hot plate on the floor still in use. Sooo many hazards around the whole shop. Hair technician had questionable hygiene. Hair technician’s braiding technique was not up to par. She did nothing to smooth out my natural hair.

This was my first time booking and I was not disappointed. Service was fast and she is very friendly. I love my hair. I got short bohemian braids and they look better than the picture. Definitely my new go-to braider For all the reviews about the shop, she is no longer in that establishment. If you had a bad experience in the shop give her a chance. You will be pleased.

Started out good. Yes, I forgot to get my hair wash because I thought they washed hair misunderstanding so I went to get my hair washed. Got back and the lady did not know how to do what I wanted, she got mad, I was gonna ask Her to do something else and she told me to leave. She could not do my hair. The place smells stink and nasty. I should have never returned after. I went to get my hair wash. But I did because I kept a promise for my services to be surrendered to me. But instead I was kicked out because she could not do a under braid Never again service was horrible and she was very unprofessional

Don't want to give 1 star. 2 braids 40 dollars.....not bad. But you get mediocre work. No offense. They understand English until there's a problem. I love to promote black business! This business I WILL NOT PROMOTE EVER AGAIN...... EVER!!!!!!! The Lady...WHO WAS THERE BEFORE I ASKED THEM TO DO MY CHILD'S HAIR, WASN'T HAPPY. THE CONVENIENCE OF BEING OPEN ON A MONDAY, WAS GREAT. The quality of work was POOR!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.
