So grateful to reconnect with Simia! I haven’t gotten my hair trimmed and treated professionally since the pandemic and was very pleased with my visit and the outcome of my hair appointment. Back on track to better hair care and would highly recommend her services if you are seeking professionalism and a great atmosphere.

I have been going to Touched by Joy since it opened. The salon is very clean and well kept. When I arrive I am always greeted with courtesy and a smile. For the most part I get wash and sets(weekly)however, I do occasionally get an up-do or braids and they have all come out beautifully. The owner, Simia, as well as the other stylist are all very pleasant and professional people. I highly recommend Touched by Joy.

I gave this newer salon a try and must say my experience was truly mixed with both pros and cons. On a positive note, the salon was very immaculate, the prices were reasonable, and my hairstyles came out nice the few times I went there. The big turn off, unfortunately, was the salon owner, Simia. She is quiet, which isn't a crime, but her personality was a major turn off for me. She came across very cold, rarely smiled, and never really tried to engage in any dialogue w/ me as a client. It was as though she didn't want to be bothered. I did speak w/ the other stylist there who was super friendly and personable, but the bad vibes I got from the salon owner was really a turn off and made me at times feel uncomfortable. Simia is very professional and a great stylist. I recommend her 100%. The shop is clean and a peaceful environment. Love it!!!

Service today was hair braiding. Looks beautiful. Love the new location. Clean, roomy & comfortable.
