DO NOT deal with Sonia if you don't like your time wasted. She will take your appointment & proceed to take other customers in front of you. She has no consideration for anyone's time. She does not know how to separate clients so she has enough time to complete them one at a time. She does not know how to manage clients properly throughout the day. Unprofessional, just give it up lady. Either you're getting tired too quick or you have too many clients a day. If you're a regular there you'll understand what I mean soon

First time that I regret not having looked at the comments before and understood that the hairdresser is crazy. I called her today to ask her if she had availability for tomorrow. She told me to come today because she's going on vacation tomorrow. So I came from Princeton (2h drive) at 6pm as agreed. A first hairdresser started my hairstyle and I waited more than 2 hours for her to continue my head. So that she tells me in the end that I have to help her do the hairstyle because she has false nails. I asked her to lower the price because that's not my job normally. She therefore threw me out of her hairdressing salon, asking me to pay 25 dollars for the start of the hairstyle. I wanted to pay but then I decided not to pay since in the end I don't have the hairstyle. She wanted to lock me u

Sonia is very rude, she likes argue with her customer. She will make you wait for 4 hours or more. I went there to got my hair done. I had an appointment with her for 3:30pm. So she can do cornrows for me. I came to the salon at 3:30 pm on the afternoon , I ended up leaving at 11:30 pm almost midnight. Sonia didn’t even care about the wait. She took so many customers In front of me. She waited at 8 :00 pm to tell me she couldn’t do the cornrows. I had to chose a different hairstyle. So, I did box braids . I even braided the end of my box braids, so she can finished my hair early . She rushed doing my hair, and I paid her full price for the box braids. Please do not go to this hair salon. She only care about the money not customer satisfaction.

Sonia is very unprofessional, she is very argumentative, she is rude and has a nasty attitude. She started my locs and didn’t tell me how to care for my starter locs. Sonia spoke negative about my starter locs when I came for my first retwist. Sonia frowned at my hair and told me she doesn’t argue and go back and forth with customers, because i ask about information on how to care for my locs. Please don’t go here RUN!!!!!

Sonya is the best!!!! She is a master at locs. She started and maintains the locs for multiple people in my family. When you come here you are treated more like family than a customer. This place is in the heart of Brooklyn so parking can be challenging. However, you will be satisfied so it's worth the wait.
