TRUE BARBERSHOP

I don’t understand why a business would have a freestanding, double-sided, folding sign at their entrance promoting: "Walk-ins welcome" when the environment was far from welcoming. I was not acknowledged or greeted by any of the three barbers. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, waited ten minutes, and still no hello, good afternoon, be right with you sir, etc. Did not want to waste anymore time there; went to another barbershop that actually appreciated my patronage. Went in when they opened as a walk-in. No greeting, nothing from four barbers. Sat there waiting for them to finish. Another customer walks in and sits. When one of them finishes, new customer walks up to that barber, seemed like they had an appointment. I continue to wait, almost an hour in, two barbers finish and they take customers that came after me. I asked them if they accept walk-ins and they didn't realize I was a walk-in and they didn't have availability. A basic form of customer service is to say hello, and ask if a customer is a walk-in or has an appointment at some point over one hour period. Barbers communicate among each other no problem but to customers, even the basics are lacking. Not wasting time here again.

I've been coming here for a couple years now since a work friend recommended them. I always have Hadi cut my hair and trim my beard and it ALWAYS looks great.

True Barber Shop in Albuquerque is our go-to spot for haircuts. My brother and dad and I visit every two weeks because Carlos consistently delivers the freshest cuts in town. His attention to detail, friendly personality, and skillful techniques make every visit enjoyable and we always leave looking better than when we came in.
