The results were honestly traumatizing and super expensive. It took me 10 months and $420 (I just did the math) to fix the haircut I received at this salon. I finally feel like myself after 4 corrective haircuts at a different salon. Truly , I don’t even understand how it was possible to mess someone’s hair (unfortunately mine) up so bad. Update: No, your memory does not serve you correctly at all. Your response to me sending photos was (verbatim) “when looking over the photos I was quite ashamed at what I saw.” I was appreciative of the apology and refund, however it took me almost a year to recover my confidence. I’m not comfortable staying silent about that. There’s no fixing that part. I’m disappointed that you would attempt to turn this on me. The stylists who corrected the cut were

Lori is a true artist and curly hair connoisseur! She shaped my coarse, thick, wiry hair expertly and showed me how to care for my curls like the rare and precious gifts they are. My hair was washed after the dry cut while I laid comfortably on a raised horizontal bed. (No sore neck. . . why don't all salons do this?) Lori educated me on how to apply Innersense products, brush, and diffuse to eliminate frizz and ensure soft, shiny, bouncy curls. I purchased generous travel sizes of all four products she used plus a Bounce brush, and the tab was well under $200--a great value. (The curly cuts I've had in Chiicago were more expensive and unimpressive.) The salon's whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme was an added delight. I'll be back!

I started visiting Twisted Hare salon 8 months before my wedding to get it in great shape for the big day. Teresa has been doing my hair cuts, and it's amazing how curly my hair is when I leave the salon. I also ended up going through Twisted Hare for my wedding hair stylist! Claudia does weddings and traveled on site to style my hair and one of my bridesmaids. Another bridesmaid was so impressed with her up do she asked if she could change her mind from doing her hair herself and have Claudia do hers too! My hair turned out amazing, and we did a wash and go the day before to set the curls so my hair was also amazing for my rehearsal dinner. Our hair even survived a downpour during the wedding ceremony!

Lori has been cutting my hair since I moved back to the Twin Cities three years ago. I used to live a few blocks away but I still drive over from St. Paul for her haircuts! I think she's the first stylist who has sent me out of the salon with my hair looking better than I can style it at home (so many apparently have no idea what to do with curly hair, especially mine which is fine but really dense). Not to mention her cuts are a great value--a lot of good curly stylists are SO expensive!

My curly cut was with the lovely Claudia! She was so informative and I'm so glad I found this salon. I feel I got a great cut and she styled my hair so cute! If you're thinking of booking an appointment here, you should do so!
