U Nails

I am new to the area and tried U Nails today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered me a drink while I was getting my nails done and checked on my comfort several times. The hot rock massage made me feel very relaxed. My gel nails turned out beautifully and the technician even offered to paint flowers on my toes. I will definitely return!

$128 is what I ended up having to pay for my nails and toes This first picture is what I asked for. The second picture is what I was given. Yes I showed the picture and yes I was told she understood. Now when I called I explained to them I wanted the picture medium almond and I was told “ okay that’ll be $45. But when it was time for me to check out I was told it was $55 and the only reason they took $5 was because it wasn’t the length of the picture I showed. This was my first and last time ever coming to this nail shop. The price was/ is ridiculous. First time ever having to pay so much for powder on toes and nails and not liking what was produced. Never Again!

I recently came to this establishment to get my toes done with one of my girls for my upcoming birthday. From the moment we walked in it seemed the lady at the front did not want us there, but we proceeded. She asked what we wanted and we individually said one wanted "just paint on all and one acrylic for her big toe" (she recently had half her toe nail break off) and I wanted "a full acrylic set". We sit down and get started. I did get a pedicure massage which honestly out of everything was the best service, the massage was A1. However when it came down to the actual work of my toes, is where everything went wrong. This was my second time visiting this salon, and unfortunately nothing has changed. I came in simply wanting a basic pedicure — nothing extra, nothing fancy. I had already showered before coming, so I didn’t need the add-ons. I chose the basic $28 pedicure because all I needed was for my toes to be cleaned and my feet scrubbed. Instead, the tech kept pointing to the most expensive package, and once she realized I wasn’t upgrading, she barely did any work at all. There was no real scrubbing, no real care — basically all I received was a color change. I even planned to tip her if she provided good service, but the way she treated me based on the package I selected was disappointing and unprofessional.
