Great atmosphere, the ambiance is welcoming and relaxing, if u need your dreadlocks detoxed, retwisted,deep conditioning,colored, etc. Ask for Ashley(that's my schoolmate) lovely lady and there's a barber on site, she has wonderful energy and the owner with her fun-loving Spirit Ms. Ujima herself is a professional businesswoman... I feel great in Aprils hands. Every service I have received has been of the highest quality (hair, makeup, lashes & conversation!) plus she is a really chill person to be around. The entire staff at Ujima has been so friendly and tentative, and I appreciate the environment that everyone there works to create. Very happy with switching over to this beauty boutique!

I drove my son 3 hours to get his dreads retwisted by Quai. Quai took his time and and it shows! We love his dreads!! The atmosphere was very friendly. The shop was super clean and the vibe was everything. We will definitely be making that drive many more times for Quai to do his thang!! Excellent work Quai! Oh and the price was very fair

A GEM IN THE CITY, LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This place is filled with genuinely talented uplifting women! Whatever you need you can get done here; lashes, hair, make up. The shop is filled with good music and laughter. I got my lashes done with April and Hair extensions out in by Ujima and was completely satisfied w/ the service. You really do get treated and greeted like family and I’m anti-social as hell and was comfortable immediately. Can’t stress enough, come in once and you’ll be back forever.
