Rushed service, poor technique, and rough, frizzy ends left me extremely disappointed. Stylists did not properly prep or smooth my hair, and salon management was unhelpful. I was shampooed by a stylist I did not book with, and both the shampoo and conditioner were rushed and poorly executed. My hair felt inadequately prepped before styling even began, and it was clear that neither stylist took the time to properly cleanse, condition, or rinse. The blowout itself was unacceptable. Camille R. at the hair salon has been a delight to get to know. I have an appointment booked with her this weekend, and even just the consult was amazing. She sat down with me beforehand, explained her process, and walked me through how she approaches caring for her clients, very thoughtful, transparent, and definitely not trying to run anyone’s pockets. I’m genuinely excited, because if you live in Atlanta and you have a lot of hair… You know how hard it can be to find a good stylist who is caring, patient, and enjoys doing natural hair (not just wigs). Camille is a gem. I came to this ULTA just because of what I've heard about her.

OVERCHARGED AT SALON!!!!!! Extremely disappointing and misleading experience at the Ulta Salon at Perimeter in Atlanta. I was originally quoted $111 for a sew-in removal, but when I checked out the total was suddenly $180. The stylist claimed Ulta charges $37 every 30 minutes for extension removals, yet this is nowhere stated on Ulta’s website or service menu. I actually timed the service. The stylist started removing my sew-in at 1:07 PM and finished at 1:56 PM, which is under an hour. However, I was charged for the removal three separate times. Her explanation was that she “started washing my hair at 2:15 PM.” The reality is the service dragged out because she was answering the phone multiple times, talking, and leaving me waiting. After picking up my online order, I wanted to exchange the blush for another color. I was told that I have to come back 24 hours later before they can do an exchange or refund. I left the order with the manager and told her she can do a return in 24 hours because I'm not coming back to do a return. What kind of silly system is that? It's been over 24hours and I have not received any email that they have cancelled my order. I called and spoke to another Managerwho kept placing me on hold to check after trying to over talk me I hung up on him. I will contact my bank to get my money. The worst customer service experience yesterday. Did not have my pick up order ready and was told to go get it myself. The product was not on the floor and the associate asked me if I wanted to wait while someone went to go find it. I asked her if she knew about how long it would take and she simply stated “no” with an attitude. (This is all a much shortened version of the story.) No sense of care to me as a customer!
