Today was my daughter's 8th birthday and she wanted to get her ears pierced. So, I made an appointment to do so. Once we got there, my other daughter decided she wanted to too and thankfully the associates were great about getting her added to our appointment slot. Luckily there were 2 associates available and could do the piercings at the same time. My older daughter went first. One side went off without a hitch while the other side did not. The gun jammed and cause her discomfort which we understood that could happen. But the employee who did that piercing did not wear gloves and they ended up using the wrong earrings my daughter had originally picked out. When the birthday girl went, the same employee didn't use gloves again. The other employee completely missed the marked spot on her

What a wonderful first experience at the Ankeny Ulta! From the moment my child and I walked in the door the atmosphere and the staff were bright and positive. Sophia was a huge help, not to mention patient, while I had to replace a large section of my makeup inventory with a little one in tow. She took her time to ensure I got what I wanted, she had helpful recommendations, and was so kind to my daughter and I. I will absolutely be back and hopefully without a toddler (even though she loved “make up store-it so fun”)!

Amazing staff everyone helped me when I asked and was very patient. When I was trying to figure something out with my wife’s present Taylor was very patient. Jay was also very sweet and playing with my daughter while trying to figure out everything and my 5 year old loved talking to her. Taylor and Jay made my experience 10 times better definitely coming back.

Jenna provided amazing service! I have very thick, difficult to work with hair, but she did a great job with color touch up and styling and was very friendly and positive - I highly recommend her!

Chelle, the hair dresser, was so kind. She gave my husband the perfect cut. A nice chat during the cut and a nice overall experience. We'll be going back!
