I can confidently say that Umu Braiding Shop is one of the best braiding shops in Charlotte. Ever since I moved from NY to NC, I was worried about finding a good braider, but my family and I were blessed with Umu. The shop provides fair prices, a calm environment, and amazing services from long-time braiders; nothing ever feels half-done. My hair is long and I often worry when I meet new braiders, but Umu always made me feel comfortable. My braids last long and never fall out (most recent medium box braids lasted nearly 4 months). This is a place that understands kindness and skill, providing the best services—no one else has yet to compare! 10/10, highly recommend ♡
