Edited to update - the owner called me the next day to apologize for the miscommunications and offer a free service for my troubles. I was able to book an appointment same day. Lidnyt was my technician and she was AMAZING. She was kind, quick, and gentle. This review is not a reflection of the person at the front desk today. She was very kind. On January 23rd, I saw their promotion for 50% a service for a first time wax and followed the process to obtain a code. I was unable to schedule online so I called and spoke with someone who scheduled my appointment over the phone and told me that I could just show the email with the discount code when I came in for my appointment. Today I brought this up while checking in for my appointment and the front desk staff called the owner to discuss next

Always a great experience! The staff is friendly, the place is immaculate and the service is quick and efficient. Yarisa is my absolute favorite. She is very personable, quick and thorough! I’ve booked appointments with her for years! Wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I came in because the promotion advertised 50% off my wax, but when I got to the appointment I was charged full price. The wax itself was okay, but I really don’t appreciate false advertising. If the promotion is actually for something specific like a free upper lip or underarm, that should be clearly stated. Don’t advertise one price and then charge something completely different once the service is done. Transparency matters, especially when people are booking based on a deal. I hope this is something the business fixes moving forward, because the service was fine — the advertising was not.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Today I came in for a 5 minute underarm wax and they would not let me receive the service because I had my infant with me. She was asleep in her stroller and I was told I could not get my wax because the room was "too small". I had been waxed here twice before and there is plenty of room for her stroller in the rooms. I am very displeased that I can't have my self care time as a new mom after making time to make an appointment and drive over. I will not be coming back. Update: Hello Owner, I appreciate your response and not being able to have children present due to insurance issues is reasonable. However, you should make this clear during your booking process so that moms know they will need to have someone watch their child during their appointment. I would

This location is very clean & smells so good! I’ve been going to Yarisa for years! She always has a smile on her face and does a great job. Uni K Wax (Miramar, FL) is lucky to have her. 🙌🏻 😃
