Unique Hair Braiding

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS HAIR BRAIDING PLACE .205 main st orange nj. THEY ARE THE WORST BRAIDING PLACE IN THE COUNTRY . I REPEAT IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES . THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE CROCHET . THEY WANTED $ 140. FOR THIS MESS,EVEN THOUGH I HAD MY OWN HAIR. CROCHET IS NORMALLY $80 I PAID $100 JUST TO REALIZE AFTER SEEING THE RESULTS OF THIS . I SHOULD NOT HAVR PAID 1 RED CENT

Absolutely terrible. The store is filthy, service is slow, they're very disorganized. I came in to do twists after calling and receiving a time slot. I sat for an additional hour after arriving. I bought some hair and they said it wasn't good for the style and they went to search for the color I wanted in the back. They took over 30 minutes to do so and the color wasn't good. Since I had to work in a few hours, I said just use my natural hair. Im embarrassed to walk out the building with what they did to my hair. Its a hot mess. They free handed the twists and all of them are different sizes and the top is the worst. I will not me coming back here and I will return to my usual spot

My go to spot. Iesha is so sweet and accommodating. Always giving me the details how I like it. Pls go early if you want to leave on time they get very busy. My hair normally takes over 4 hrs so make sure to dress comfy l, bring food, water and something to read.

RUN!!!! RUN!!!! RUN!!!!! I am a licensed cosmologist AND THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!! 8 braids turned into 8!!!!!!!! Hours and definitely nothing like the picture. The gentleman that braided my hair or should I say scalp is definitely not professional!! And neither is the owner THAT WATCHED next to me, AISSA. I must have relayed to her 100 times to ask the braider not to braid my hair so tight well he pitched a fit and braided it even tighter. I was so mad All I can say is see the pictures below. I am seriously calling the state board of cosmetology tomorrow because they should not be open until they are trained properly. RUN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. They always did great protective braiding styles and were mindful of properly braiding and taking care of your natural hair BUT recently that has changed. Last braiding style I got I sat in a chair for 8 hours for medium box braids. That in itself is crazy! That day 3-4 women complained about how long they were in there and hair quality! Color was messed up and I had to complain ( despite showing a photo prior). After ONLY 2 weeks the whole crown of my head looked old and I had already lost 3 braids, and edges with it! This wasnt knotless, it was box braids and this occurred! Saddest part is the owner did it and to date she was the worst service I received. Went back to complain and I was gonna be charged $80 to fix what wasn’t initially done right. On top of the $180 they had taken 2 week
