Uptown Nail Lounge

I went there last week to get a nail fixed since my regular lady couldn’t fit me in for days. I got my one nail fixed, they took me in right away and were friendly. Tara did a great job so I went back today to do a full set of polygel and they are beautiful. Tara was super fast but a perfectionist. I absolutely love my nails. Highly recommend!

Went the day after Christmas to get my nails done and before new years my toe gel nail polish was already peeling off. Went back in to fix them and they refused to fix the 3 toe that the gel polish was peeling off and told me I had to come back another day and pay for them. Mine you I’m 9 months pregnant which doesn’t matter but they consistently had me bending over to show them what was wrong when you can clearly see where the polish has lifted and peeled. Don’t waste your time and get your nails done there. I see why they have no business you’re better off going somewhere else

Unfortunately, I am not happy with my experience. I went in to get an acrylic removal because I wanted to do it properly instead of attempting at home. However, instead of doing a proper soak off, they just ripped my old nails off of me. This hurt very badly and if I had known I would’ve done that at home. Secondly, all I wanted was a regular gel manicure with a little design. As you can see by the pictures the design is not very well done. The diamonds are not even the same size or type. I definitely should have said something at the time, but I also wish I would have been told that it was not possible instead of sending me out with that. The polish is also very lumpy and uneven. This is not worth the $55 that I paid. They do not look professional or salon quality and I am disappointed.

Once again, Tara at Uptown Nails hit it out of the park! She is talented and always creates a nail set that exceeds expectations. As for the salon, Uptown Nails is sanitary & everyone is friendly and kind. They make you feel at home! Thank you Tara for creating a gorgeous work of art.

It was my first time visiting, go with a friend and it was amazing. The worker who did my nails did such an amazing job and a fast worker. I had an appt at 12 and she finished probably about under an hour. It was a little pricey since I’ve been to other places that were a little cheaper but it was worth it. She did the nails exactly the same as the picture with some few requests from me. As it shows in the picture the pink part I want it to be a lighter pink and she made it happen. Everything else was the same. It’s really pretty. The place also has a very warming, calm vibe to it. The first two photos are the pictures from Pinterest that I wanted to do and the last two are my nails that the worker did.
