This place is amazing! Took my 13 year niece for her very first curly cut with PK. She was amazing. She spent time walking my niece through everything she was doing. She gave her tips on how to style. The outcome was amazing! I never knew my niece's curls could look that good. She was smiling all day! Very grateful to have found this place.

Just finished up with my first appt. The stylist was very nice. She explained each step and what she was using. She gave a couple good tips on things I can do different with my hair. In all honesty, I feel that paying close to $400 for what I received was not worth the price tag. I'm in no way trying to diminish the stylists work. She did what I booked her to do. But for that kind of money I expected it to be.. more? Better? It just didn't overly impress me. My adult daughter and husband both commented that my hair didn't look any different than any other time I've had my hair cut. I mean little over a year ago I paid for my daughter to have her blond hair restored from the dark hair dye she used, took 3 stylists and 4 hours and I paid less for that then what I paid for this appt. I first went to Urban Bloom in August of 2024 to dye my virgin dark hair red. I had had a consultation with Marlene Venegas about a month before I came in to dye it, and we had discussed the process, price, and chosen a shade of red that only involved high lifting so that we could avoid using bleach due to the damage it would cause. I arrived around 9 am for the appointment, which ended up taking around 9 hours. I had it dyed and cut. It looked good for the first week, but started to go from red to orange fast. Additionally, the cut that I had paid almost $200 for made my hair look like a triangle, to the point I had to exclusively wear it up. Im attaching the following text message stating confirmation. This was unfortunate but it past and I received a refund. Thank you for your time— God bless! UPDATE: I recommend Snapdragon Salon or Salon Estique PRIOR to booking here! I booked online (about one week from booking date). However, I was advised to call/text the salon next time to ensure the stylist has sufficient time to complete the service. As if both ends don't receive confirmation prior to the date? I have had the pleasure of being Haley Sexton’s regular at Urban Bloom Curls for almost 2 years. Haley is a master at her craft! Kind, funny and honest- she makes the experience worth it every single visit. She works hard and is so meticulous with hair, the results never fail to impress. Aside from that, Haley is personable! From my first time in the salon chair until now, I have had nothing but laughs and fun together. I always leave better (both physically and emotionally) than when I came! I can’t recommend Urban Bloom Curls, but especially Haley enough! She’s amazing! ☀️
