Urban Nirvana Spa - Charleston

This very established spa does a great job. They are quick to answer the phone and very efficient And knowledgeable when it comes to getting you an appointment. The staff and all the therapist are really top notch. However it has gotten very difficult to get an appointment there sometimes.This past Saturday, they came through on a last minute situation. I usually like to go get a massage more for the relaxation and decompression benefits. However I woke up with a really stiff and aching lower back Saturday morning and was going offshore on Sunday. They got me in Saturday afternoon at 3:30 with Angel who did an outstanding job. The time was perfect because it allowed me to get my preparation done for the trip the next day. When I walked out all my pain and discomfort was completely gone.

I had a gift card and decided to treat myself to a haircut. I decided last minute to ask for curtain bangs because they’ve always looked so good but I have curly hair so I am hesitant when it comes to new cuts. Tara was lovely and spent as much time as she could making sure I looked good. I did end up leaving with a blowout so I was really nervous for how the bangs would look curly, but they look so good I can’t even stress enough how thankful I am. Tara definitely saw me slightly freaking out when she cut them, but i’d love it if yall could pass along my thanks to her she truly was wonderful!

Julia is amazing! I’ve had highlight and cut services with her and she is so nice. Their gift card promos are also great ways to save money on future services.

I had never had a facial before and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Lindsay was super knowledgeable and took the time to ask questions about my routine and skin and made great suggestions on how to take better care of my face! The facial was a 10/10 experience, I left feeling relaxed, hydrated, and more confident in how to move forward with my skincare. I will certainly be re-booking again soon!

Casey is the best! She has done a (huge) color correction on my daughter and colored and cut my hair! I would not go to anyone other than Casey again! My daughter (15 yrs old) adores her and she’s just lovely as a person and a wonderful stylist!
