Urban Nirvana Spa & Salon - Downtown Greenville

Kristina was the hairstylist I didn’t know I needed. I had been to so many different salons in Greenville asking for bangs and somehow they always talked me out of it until Kristina today. She was so calm and good at her job. She really took her time and it showed that she really cared for hair and people. She unintentionally gave me a “silent treatment” which sounds like a bad thing, but it’s what I’ve always wished I could find in a haircutting experience… just to relax in the chair and let her do her job well. She also gave a great scalp massage. Kristina did a fantastic job listening to me, caring for my hair, and cutting my hair until I was happy with it. As someone with curly hair, it has been hard to find someone who has been able to cut my hair as well as Dania! I first booked here on a whim, and the “rebook” option has been used SEVERAL times. Everyone is so wonderful, and I love getting to catch up with Dania when I come in! Now for the actual hair cut - the first time I got it done here, it was probably the best curly cut I’ve ever had. The length was great, but more importantly, the way it grew out was perfect. We did some longer layers that kept it from being boxy and poofy, and I believe that is the first time it has ever grown out so well. First time I liked being able to grow it out even longer! You should come here and see Dania!!

Dania is the best! She took her time, gave great suggestions, and my haircut turned out even better than I expected. The layers are perfect and easy to style. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fresh new look!

I've only had great experiences at Urban Nirvana. I recently began using this salon, as my hair stylist, Haddassah, recently moved salons. This salon is clean, bright, has easy, online booking, and has lots of products to shop prior to or after your appointment. The location is convenient as well, with plenty of parking around. My stylist, Dassah, is fantastic- always so friendly, kind, and excited to help me figure out what I want to do with my hair. She doesn't try to upsell me at all and uses products that address the needs of my hair. I have so much fun in Dassah's chair and the conversations are never dull or impersonal. I would absolutely recommend this salon and booking with Haddassah in particular.

Getting a massage at Urban Nirvana is a luxury experience at an affordable price. Both massage therapists that I have been seen by (Brittany and Alyssa) were extremely kind, professional and skilled. The day spa has curated an experience by simple things such as lockers for belongings, heated tables, showers for after therapy and so on. These little things truly make a memorable experience. In the rare event that a mistake is made, they are quick to rectify it. They have done an amazing job at perfecting the customer experience from front of house to back of house. Safe to say I have found a forever spa spot!
