This place is, hands down, one of these salons I’ve ever made appointments/visits. The cut, color, and highlights matched my vision perfectly. In fact, I trusted Lori immediately to fill in the gaps with my preferences and path her way of getting there as she clearly knew exactly what I was attempting to create. It is also such a modern, clean, and artistic studio of space. I was in heaven for those few hours. I will definitely make this my future spot.

I’ve been seeing Lori for my hair care and cuts for years now. She knows curly hair and so much more. I trust her and her expertise, but she also listens and respects me too! I leave her chair thrilled every time. And I can actually leave her chair and not have to go home and fix my hair myself, which is a first!! IYKYK. Love her expanded space too. It’s super modern and chic but also warm and welcoming with tons of windows and natural light.

Lori at Valentine & Co Primp and Groom Room is truly one of a kind! I have known Lori for a long time. She has a gift for bringing your vision to life and making you feel amazing every step of the way. The salon has such a cool, elevated vibe ~ stylish decor, cozy touches, and laughter!! Every appointment with her is more than just a haircut or color ~ it’s an experience. She listens, cares, and somehow always knows exactly what will make you look and feel great. Walking in the door at Valentine+CO primp+groom room I was immediately greeted warmly by owner and multi-media artist Lori Valentine making me feel most welcome. Her corner suite salon is stunning with floor to ceiling windows, lots of light and views of our gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains! A nice blend of 80’s and 90’s pop music serenaded me and brought back memories as I awaited my appointment on a comfortable couch soaking in the post industrial with mid-century accents vibe in the salon’s furnishings, burnished by splashes of color in the rug and Lori’s spirit animal, a giant painting of a leopard!
