Verdure Massage

Iris is incredible - one of the most relaxing massages I’ve ever gotten - I almost fell asleep! Perfect amount of pressure and she intuitively knew how to adjust based on how my body responded. She was especially good at upper back and legs/feet. Very friendly and made me comfortable. Amazing massage at a great price (includes hot stones)!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here. My wife bought couples massage for Father's day. Her experience was nice & in line with many positive reviews. Mine was very painful as the masseuse kept crossing over my spine with her movements. Despite explaining during the massage & ending the session early, my outcome was major back spasms that ruined the rest of the day, had me on the floor for almost a week & landed me in chiropractic care for a few months. My wife called & they only offered me a free massage to come back & try again. I did not want to do that, so I asked for a refund or if they'd give the free massage to my wife who does massages more often that I do. The woman at the front desk deferred to the owner, the owner deferred to the front desk and the end result was

My wife booked me a full body massage, and it was amazing. I had a ton of muscle knots, and he really worked them out—felt so much better afterward. I actually enjoyed the whole experience more than I expected. The owner is super sweet too. Definitely going back !

I gave this place a high review prior but I was clearly mistaken… I went again to get a massage and after letting me in and the masseuse started, they called her out and sent another person telling me they don’t have time for me and I need to leave… their excuse was that they thought I had an appointment ! I clearly stated when I went in that I was a “ walk-in” … at the time of this incident, I have been a regular at this place for months ! Certainly not going back again. Very unprofessional.

I have been coming here for three years, I live up in Placerville and I probably pass 10 massage places going down to Verdure’s. I have had 90 minute massages by multiple ladies and they are all equally great at what they do. Always clean always quiet and always professional. A must try.
