Vie's Nails

I come here for pedicures and I cannot recommend it enough! For as long as I live in Chi this is the nail salon I’ll be coming to. Everybody does an amazing job and takes their time with each service. Quality work, kind staff, affordable services 10/10 :)

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I'm incredibly disappointed with this salon and would not recommend it. I’ve been getting pedicures here for a few months, but my last experience was a disaster. I went in to have my dip manicure removed (my nails were long and healthy) and instead of soaking (because she said it would take too long) the tech ripped off the dip, breaking two of my nails in the process. When I pointed this out, she insisted my nails were already damaged, which was untrue. I was upset but decided to continue with the service since I needed my nails done for an event. She used a gel-like powder instead of the dip I wanted, filed my nails down so much they hurt, and I am now missing a chunk of my nail from my thumb and she applied a chrome with a green finish rather

I recently visited Vie's (this was my third time going) and it will be the last time I go. I was cut by one of the technicians who used a dirty cuticle trimmer. It took 2.5 weeks for this to heal as well as a trip to the doctor and prescribed antibiotics. I went in to show the employees what my finger looked like (doctors suggestion) all for them to tell me I have sensitive skin. I have been getting my nails done with no issues whatsoever for 8 years. Would not recommend going.

Tim is amazing! Great color selection, great service. This full acrylic set with black gel polish was done in an hour and cost $55. Definitely going back to this neighborhood gem.

Great nail salon! I always get the best no chip manicures here, especially when choosing a polish from the pink book they have. Cindy did my nails most recently and even added a lovely design after I showed a picture of my idea.
