Joey is an absolute gem. I’ve been looking for my go-to stylist for my curly/wavy hair in Philly since I moved here 7+ years ago - one appointment with Joey and I’m done searching. I left the salon feeling amazing, both because of the great haircut and just because of how kind and sweet and fun Joey is. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable in every way, and it truly feels so genuine. My haircut is exactly what I was hoping for and he gave me great tips on how to style it. The salon is a beautiful space too!

Joey literally gave me the best haircut in my life in half the time of any other hairdresser. I have had so many people compliment this cut even as it grew out. Something I really appreciate is that he sends out a questionnaire before your appointment with really thoughtful questions like “do you prefer chatting or sitting in comfortable silence when you get your haircut?”. He is also the most consent-forward stylist I’ve ever come across and is extremely disability-friendly. I just can’t recommend him enough.

Joey really cares about everyone who walks through his door. He listens, offers options, and is honest about what will work best. He makes you look great and feel like you belong. Top marks especially for hair coloring genius.
