VIP Hair & Nail Salon

I'm from out of town, and needed a trim and blow out. Alisa got me right in, and Amani did a lovely shampoo, conditioner and blowout. I loved the service and cordial treatment I received. I left feeling blessed 😇

As a natural girly i am not really pleased with the work there anymore from VIP. I was a huge fan in the beginning and constantly went to see trish who is no longer with us.❤️🕊️i was so happy with her work and i saw allot more hair growth with her. i stopped going for a bit after losing her and been going to her for 5 year + but then decided to give VIP another opportunity. I then went to see Tranese Brown for the same treatments and never saw growth. My hair was damaged so badly and it took a couple of months to realize and see that my hair wasnt the same. When using heat on my hair she barely used heath protectant. It was a bit more i was paying for her service as well to be very unhappy. Plus everytime i had an appointment with her as a client she was not too focused on my hair more so

I've walked past VIP almost every single day for years now and have always wanted to try it. I finally popped in this afternoon to ask if they take walk-ins, thinking perhaps maybe I'd come back later in the week. They took me almost right away! I've waited five times as long for a scheduled haircut at other places which shall remain nameless unless you read my other reviews. Patrick was tremendous. I came in for just a trim, but he asked a few questions and, based on my answers, Patrick made some suggestions to improve my overall style. I'm SO happy with them. My hair looks incredible. I love that Patrick chatted a little bit but didn't talk my ear off with inane BS like most stylists. I took a young woman here in hopes of her beginning a hair journey to love her natural hair, but her experience was overall terrible and I 100% regret taking her there because she hates her hair MORE now. The stylist *insisted* on a relaxer that he then left on too long in the back so the hair there is completely straight and sticking out. The cut is noticeably uneven between the two sides above her ears and he didn't even clean up her neck or rinse her hair after the cut. He ignored her repeatedly telling him that she didn't want her hair too short, but he kept saying it had to go despite it being healthy hair. All I can say is wow..VIP is definitely holding that name up.. first off Curtis came in to do a counseltation with me and also brought in Shay to do my color..this was the first time in years I've gotten color and it didn't burn. They had to correct my hair because I messed it up trimming it wrong I won't speak badly of other past stylist.. but the professionalism here was another level.. took hair care to another level..Thank you Curtis and Shay..I feel I found my new salon!
