Virtue Vegan Salon- Brewery District

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. I came in with bad highlights and was brought in twice to “fix” them. The first time they added more highlights/balayage—my hair turned orange. The second time, Lacey (who was very sweet and genuinely tried her best) did improve things a bit, but after washing my hair, it was still not right. When I called back, the manager Kendra told me they would not do anything further. That in itself is disappointing, but what really shocked me was how she handled the situation. She told me *I said I was happy both times*—as if that excused their results. Of course I said that in the chair—I had already been there over 7 hours total, I have a 4-month-old baby at home, and anyone who’s sat in a salon knows it’s incredibly uncomfortable to say

LIIIIIIIIZZZZZZ is AMAZING. I gave her pretty mid direction, in hindsight, and she did. Not. Disappoint. Head massage? Incredible. I even told her I had to stop talking because I was OFFLINE when she started it. She’s wonderful and the convo was top notch. I’m happy to report I made a friend and look forward to coming back to her ❤️🫰🏼

Had Alex do my hair last visit. They did an amazing job and i left feeling so beautiful! They were super welcoming and held great conversation. The hair wash room is beyond relaxing. Overall awesome experience at virtue vegan!

I love this salon so much! I have been getting my hair cared for by the wonderful and fantastic Liz. She’s absolutely amazing and makes sure everything is just how I want it. Thorough consultations. Amazing hair washes, the best ever! I have been getting hair cut and styled by Liz for almost 4 years.

Kiki is my guy here! — I can throw her inspiration photos, or I can ask her what she believes to be the move. She is a fabulous stylist, master of her craft & a great hang. I'm usually running errands directly after the hair cut due to the likelihood of compliments. Thank you Kiki 🥋 ––– VV tunes into great playlists all day. I'm usually there for hours getting lost in the music between chats. This spot is warm with conversation, but if you'd rather read a book or zone out or be shy — VV is conducive to the experience you're after. I also love that they immediately offer you coffee or tea and keep the cup filled 😌 ☕️ ——— Huge fan, see yall soon!
