Vivid Nail Salon

I was really hoping for a premium experience here, especially given that I paid $140 for this set. However, the technical results don't quite reflect that investment. The most disappointing part is that the base is quite sheer, so my natural nails are still visible underneath the product. For a luxury service on the UES, I found the application to be a bit inconsistent; the surface feels uneven in places, the French tips vary in shape, and the cuticle work feels unrefined. If you’re looking for a very precise, high-end finish, you may want to explore other options in the neighborhood.

First of all as soon as I walk in the lady that was doing my nails rolled her eyes 10 different times I’m not sure why she had so big of an attitude but every time I ask her or I kindly told her what I would like she roll her eyes and act like she couldn’t hear me and I had to ask her multiple times and then she said what would an attitude I literally had to clean my own nails because she was upset that I asked her kindly to please remove the dirt under my nails. These are my nails as soon as I walked out of the salon I’m so disappointed I get this business all kinds of money, my nails hurt they’re so sensitive and I understand that she took off the acrylic, but my nails should not have smudged like this especially after drawing them for over 20 minutes. Love this nail salon!! They’re the fastest I’ve found in NYC, with a uv gel fill in coming in at around 1h15-1h35 depending on the complexity of the design. Jane is my go to girl, she does such a great job!

NEVER GO THERE AND GIVE THESE MONEY. BUSINESSES LIKE THIS DO NOT DESERVE TO BE ON THE UES!!!! This was the most horrible manicure I have ever had, I went there to get a hard gel but they told me they don't do that and that they will put tips on, Gina started the manicure but it was obvious she was a rookie so I kept quiet so as not to upset her. Then she put the nails on completely crooked and put a huge layer of hard gel on top and let it dry and my nails turned into GIANT pieces. Then she tried to shape them with an electric nail file but my nails and cuticles were full of gel and they were completely stuck together, it hurt so much when she tried to clean them off. Excellent customer service! I came in a few days after my appointment because I had one chipped nail and they fixed it at no cost. They wouldn't even accept a tip - highly recommend
