Avoid this place at all costs. I had an absolutely awful experience this weekend and want to make sure no one else goes through the same thing. I came in on a Saturday morning asking for short Gel-X nails — and received the complete opposite. Each time I tried to speak up, the nail tech at station #4 gave me attitude. I eventually gave up and let her finish just to get out of there, but arranged to come back the next morning to have them fixed. The front desk staff were kind and apologetic, which I appreciated. When I returned the next day, I was shocked to be seated with the same tech who had done the bad set. From the start, she was visibly annoyed. I’ve been a loyal customer at Vogue Nails in San Bruno for 5 years, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service they provide. This place has been around for 20 years, and it’s clear why they have such a strong reputation. The staff is consistently kind, professional, and highly experienced. Every technician—whether doing manicures, pedicures, or designs—is fantastic at what they do. The pricing is more than fair, and I always leave a tip of at least 20% because their work is truly deserving of it. Over the years, I’ve never seen a drop in their standards. I trust every single technician, so I don’t have a go-to person—I feel confident with any of them. I’ve had a few experiences at this salon, but my recent visit has pushed me to share my thoughts. Making an appointment seems pointless, as walking in doesn’t guarantee a quality experience. While Linda and Cindy consistently do a fantastic job with pedicures, my experiences with Vee have been troubling. She tends to rush through the process and uses the electric drill at full speed, which has left me with a burnt nail bed. Today was the last straw. Kim did my hard gel nail refill and black painted nails, but they were far from the solid look I wanted. I left feeling frustrated, especially after paying $45 plus a tip. I expressed my disappointment to the front desk, only to be told, “next time I’ll tell her.” That doesn’t help me right now!

Vogue is a new spot i found and they do great nails. Price is great as well!

Upon arrival for my appt. I was ushered to the chair.. where I got my feet soaked for over 30 minutes before anyone came to do the pedi. Whats the point of appt if theres nobody available. The pedi is ok, she didnt thoroughly clean my cuticles or scrub my feet. I figured maybe she'll do a better job on cutting it. She only cut a few, didnt even out the one nail with a chip. She also did my nails, i requested french nails. The tips are not consistent, she was tryin to sell me acrylic but i declined. She had put oil/lotion so when I left it looks fine.I didnt realize until i washed my hands that she had painted over my cuticles. Im not one to do my nails regularly but even with little experience I can tell that work is subpar. Its only been a week its only peeling off. I only continued with
