VolumeONE Salon - Downtown

I am writing this review from my heart. I have been coming to VolumeONE Salon on and off for twelve years. I had the upmost respect for the talent here. I have worked with some of the best stylists in the Southern part of the US. Around a year ago I started working with Taylor, she was amazing for highlights and cut. However, she moved out of the area. I was put with Alex, the veteran stylist that had trained her. The first visit was perfect, my hair was beautiful. Her prices were almost double, but the cost doesn't matter to me as long as I get quality. The second visit didn't go well. Her assistant was drying my hair with her fingers, not a blow out and it had not been cut yet. The entire back of my neck was wet and my shirt was wet. Dylan quite literally saved my life. I came to him with grown out roots/patchy highlights and he was able to lift my hair beautifully while taking time to ensure my hair remained healthy. Very talented and genuinely cares about giving you the hair you want while being realistic with blonding goals.

Danielle has been doing my hair about two years . The before and after photos are ridiculous. I will drive to wherever she is to have her continue giving me these results. Her work is second to none. Love her!!

Had a great experience with Danielle. Loved her cutting skills, my layers and bangs were exactly how I wanted alongside the color! I told her what I wanted, with low maintenance grow out. She gave me exactly what I asked for alongside adding creatively. The salon was clean and friendly. Super easy, comfortable visit. I’ll definitely be back.

I have never been treated so poorly at any business until I went to volume one. I’ve been a client here for a while now and as of today I no longer feel comfortable coming back. My hair stylist Danielle not only failed to come close to what I asked for and destroyed my hair in the process of trying to fix her mistakes but she was also extremely rude while doing so. While fixing my hair she was being very passive agressive, sloppily applying the toner, tugging on my hair, and slamming the bottles down. I have never cried at a hair appointment until today.
