**CAUTION LONG POST ALERT** This post is long overdue but I feel that it’s necessary to caution anyone who will come to this salon that the owner/manager (I’m not exactly sure of her official title)-Monsi, is money hungry and doesn’t understand service recovery. So I initially got some boho braids from them in the beginning of 2024. Pros: the braids came out beautiful, most of the workers (Monsi included) were very friendly, personable and professional. To add, I’ve been getting braids preferably from African owned salons (in my opinion the atmosphere and quality is usually to my liking) for over 16+ years. As stated previously, the first experience I was satisfied with my hair and overall client experience. I paid $300 (plus’s generous tip) I believe for this style with knotless braids

Great customer service, works fast but VERY neat! I been getting my hair done by Monsi for years and she has never disappointed. Her work space is clean and cute as well… GO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT ASAP!!!

Monsi is such an expert and a professional when it comes to braids and sew ins. I have not had someone braid as neat and also as quick as her. Every style she has done on me last for weeks and still look good after all the wear. I have recommended several people to vovadio’s and they have all been extremely happy with her service! Keep doing what you’re doing Monsi!!!❤️

This is My favorite Salon, I don’t trust everyone with my hair especially as a tender head girly. However this is one place I come & be at ease. My hair always looks fabulous leaving & the whole experience is nice. Customer service is A1. If you are looking for a place to get your hair done, definitely try Vovadio.

Monsi, is incredible she takes her time and the braids always come out neat and beautiful. I’ve been going to her for a couple of years and, I am always happy and excited with the results. Y’all definitely have to check my girl out! She definitely got it! #northsidegirlies
