Wash~Day

10/10 I saw Tori. This was my first true curly cut. My hair had received very blunt layers and had some heat damage. I was nervous about the possibility of fixing it without a major chop. I had no reason to be nervous. Tori was so considerate about my past hair traumas and taking too much length. She talked about how to fix some disconnection and we agreed to style it first before cutting more. I saw I would benefit from cutting what she explained would correct the issues I had and she still was gentle about it. Said she could teach me how to style it in a way that could hide some of it and we could get it slowly. Washdayyy is where it’s at!! I had a facial done by Abby and it was amazing - she took intake and listened to my skincare history (or lackthereof), had no judgement, and recommended products that have changed the way my confidence and skin feels. Also, she reminded me of the value of daily adherence rather than a quick fix, and to be patient with my skin. Well a couple week later and my skin LOOKS and FEELS new and moisturized.I would definitely recommend booking with her. Shoutout to Tori for her hair product recommendations as well - I’ll get booked with her one day! I’ll be back Washday!

I had the pleasure of experiencing Wash Day with Tori for the first time last year, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. From the start, Tori made me fall in love with my curls in a way I never had before. She took time to talk with me about my hair and my goals before ever picking up the scissors, and she taught me how to properly care for my curls, recommending products that actually work. I came in for a lash lift and brow lamination with Abby and LOVED my experience and service. She walked me through the process since it was my first time as well as expectations. The bed was super comfy and she has such a gentle touch I fell asleep lol. I highly recommend whether it’s a facial, wax, lashes, or brows ❤️

I put quite a few months in between my appointment and this review to truly let it grow out and grow on me before writing a review. I don’t like to hurt people’s business. But unfortunately the quality doesn’t match the expensive price I paid. I don’t feel this cut was good for me. It looks like a haircut for a boy. Nothing like the picture I showed. I lost a lot of length for nothing now. And I paid way too much money for this, all to need to get it done again somewhere else to make it better shaped for my face. I don’t understand it because the 2 ladies in there had their hair cut very nicely. So maybe this was an off day.. But I won’t be returning. I will say that I loved that it was clean inside the salon and I loved the head massage and steam treatment, but the stylist is the most imp
