I enrolled in the weight reduction program and am currently down 35lbs in 3 1/2 mos!!. The staff is outstanding and what I like most is that you are supervised (food diary reviewed 3x/wk, weigh-in 3x week, Blood pressure recorded 3x/wk, BMR measured every 2months along with body measurements). In addition, there is supervised instruction on cardiovascular and strength training. The facility is super clean and well equipped. On one occasion I wasn't able to make my planned commitment and the "Truant Officer" (Virginia) called me to note that I was lagging. - LOL!! I can't say enough good thing things about the staff and program!!!

Full disclosure: Virginia, the owner, is my mom. :) But while that may prevent me from writing a truly unbiased review, it also means I'm more aware of what goes on behind the scenes at Thrive, and that matters. Why? Because Thrive's famously fun and supportive atmosphere is a direct result of what happens the behind-the-scenes. The way the my mom cares about her staff produces a ripple effect that makes clients feel like family. Ever since I can remember, my mom has gone out of her way (sometimes WAY out of her way) to help and encourage people. Thrive is a perfect outlet for her where her strong background in physical fitness gets to play daily with her relexive habit of helping. Her clients get the benefit. So much to offer in being or becoming fit. Lots of exercise equipment and a saltwater pool. No judgement on how fit you are. Everyone treats everyone with kindness and respect. Staff very nice and helpful.
