West Side Barbers and Styling Salon

My son and I got great haircuts here last year and I was looking forward to getting our hair cut again, intending this to be our main barber. We've been by here multiple times at diffetent times of day and been told that they couldn't cut our hair, often with no reason given. The one lady that was by herself at almost four I can understand, since she *said* she had someone coming in, but the other times there've been multiple people there doing jack-all. At this point I've given up on WSBS and I'm going to be looking elsewhere. Haven't figured it out where yet, just going to have to try somewhere that's not here. Have a couple of stars for the two good haircuts we got, I am done trying to get another here.

Twice I've asked for fairly simple cuts and it's been hit or miss. The first lady did an awesome job with minimal instructions. I returned a month later and got a cut from the young pretty girl. She did an OK job but it wasn't as clean and even as the other lady (whose booth is to the left of the girl's). Overall, the folks there are very nice, polite, and professional but with a friendly-neighborhood-type attitude. The price is very nice as well compared to other spots. I highly recommend, just hope you get the better luck of the draw. My haircut isn't screwed up, it's just that it could be better. I'll return there in another month regardless.

I've been going here for years and intend to keep going for many to come. I can't say I've had the same barber more than twice but then again, I only get my hair cut maybe 2-3 times in a year. Regardless, I've been happy with my cut each time. They're great about taking walk-ins, I've never had to wait too long.

Nancy was one of those people you just have known all ur life. Lol, at least she certainly makes you feel that way. I have been trying to find someone to give me a certain type of haircut that I just couldn't get. She nailed it! She knew exactly what I was talking about and I didn't have to explain a thing. She took the reigns ( scissors ✂️) & I am so grateful I found her. I need to look no further! Thank you Mary Ann. I am one happy customer! 😊
