So thankful to have Heeja after moving to Austin! She's been cutting and dying my hair since last fall and I keep coming back! She takes her time and always assures that I'm happy with my color and cut and says that if something doesn't look right when I get home to let her know and she will fix it. Heeja also won't push or recommend products and services she doesn't think my hair needs. She is very flexible to accommodating my crazy work travel schedules and will get me in the same day if not the next day when I ask. She is also the sweetest, she checks in every few months to see how my red color is doing and at every appointment I've had with her, she alwayd asks about the work trips I told her I'd be going on from previous appointments.

She did a great job doing what I requested and also offering additional styling suggestions for my long hair. My husband is Asian and very particular about his hair, and he also said she did a good job. We just moved here, so she will become our new stylist!

*Do not book here if you are looking for Windy Hair Salon Original* I booked a Digital Perm online that says starting at $200. Big mistake! I waited over 40 minutes, then was told the price would be a whopping $690(!!) due to my hair length—even though we agreed she’d trim it to just below my chest. That’s over 3x the listed price, which felt misleading and dishonest. I told her I couldn’t proceed at that price, and she said I’d still be charged $100 fee. We compromised on a $250 cold perm. I having been getting perms for years (both digital and cold) and have had multiple cold perms before without issue. She wanted me to say that she really enjoyed her hair cutting and hair highlights/coloring experience here as she finally found the perfect hair color and highlights. The service was on the pricier end but the results were amazing! Thank you!

Hands down the best hair salon I’ve to been to in Austin (I get the men’s haircut). Heja is super understanding, takes time to listen and does a fantastic job. She gives really great recommendations and tips on how to style. Would recommend. 10/10.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
