WOW African Hair Braiding – Westheimer

Omgggg first of all love my hair !! Braids are light , parts are crispyyy & customer service is AMAZINGGG ! When I called they were ready and it was 3 OF US ! lol . They had blankets for if u get cold , water for if you get hot or thirsty and good Afro beats playing. There even a lady in the back that do wig installs . Definitely will be back and this was my first time getting my hair braided . Check them out their great company and they work together well . NO WEIRD vibes here . lol Hair included and I got small braids waist length $290 . YOU CANT BEAT THAT !!

I LOVE this place! I'd never had braids before. These ladies assessed my natural hair and made recommendations that would be best for me. I got knotless box braids. I love them! I was pleasantly surprised that they were not tight or painful. The ladies were gentle, kind, patient, professional, and FAST! My appointment was at 10am, I was out before 3pm. I'm super impressed, and they've just earned a regular client. I highly recommend!

Staff have good braiding skills but some are highly unprofessional and lack basic ethics. Sometimes when you want to express displeasure or concern, they’d gaslight you one way or the other. I’ve had 2 unpleasant experiences in this salon now but I keep going back because their work is good. But we shouldn’t have to compromise if customer service because of good skill. Explain to me why I would come in to make enquiries on a service and express intent in patronising and a staff who was sleeping while I walked in would state out loud that “she wanted to sleep” in a very dismissive tone and infact turned her face and continued sleeping. Remi from WOW Braiding is the absolute best, this is the best experience I have ever had getting my hair braided. She made sure to be super transparent with pricing and even got me an appointment on short notice. It didn’t hurt at all when I was getting braided and I’ve been to other places where I can’t say the same. Remi is an amazing person and the shop is also super clean, spacious and inviting. I had a great experience overall and I really appreciate it. I’ll be back!

Finally got those boho braids at the Westheimer location. Absolutely adore the result—loose and flowy. The braider was talented, took her time. 6 hours but premium quality. Ideal for weddings or events, I'd tell brides-to-be to book here.
