Excellent service and welcoming stylists. I’ve visited twice for a balayage, and each time the results have been incredible. Even though my hair is very thin, they managed to make it look much fuller. They take the time to work with you to achieve the color you’re aiming for while minimizing damage and breakage. I also love that even after the color begins to fade with washing, it still looks beautiful.

Xcellent Hair Bar has to be one of the best salons around!! They have such a talented team that perfects color every time. My color comes out perfectly vibrant, and my hair comes out feeling soft and healthy. The salon is also very clean and welcoming. I’m so glad I have my new go-to spot!

Since it was Tuesday there was no wait time and all I did was walk in and ask for a haircut. Then I asked what I wanted and they effortlessly and efficiently cut my hair. Good service and they were polite. They listened to me and gave me advice to style my hair, prices are fair and quality is good when compared to other places, would recommend.

Saved my hair! I went to my usual hair stylist, but it was clear she had no clue how to do ombré with pink. She’s always done fine with basic highlights, but this year I wanted to do something fun for my birthday. I chose a light pink ombré with my natural roots. My word did it look bad…. I was embarrassed to go outside. The pink was way brighter than what I wanted, and the transition from my roots to the color was atrocious. I’ve walked by Xcellent Hair Bar several times, so I looked them up and saw they had a lot of experience with color, ombré, and all around more of a youthful look. I’m so happy I found them, because they were able to fix my color, blend my natural roots with my pink, and gave me a great haircut. I’ll definitely be back! So happy I discovered this neighborhood gem! Jason did an incredible job on my hair - he really listened to what I wanted and nailed the style perfectly. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and pays close attention to details. The salon itself is spotless, welcoming, and reasonably priced. I left feeling so refreshed and already looking forward to going back!
